The bachelorette party is a time for friends to get together and enjoy each other’s company. This party is usually hosted by the bridesmaids, but also can be hosted by a close friend or relative. The party can be a day event with the girls or a wild night on the town.
Some ideas for bachelorette parties are below, keep in mind, the party should be based around any activity the bride enjoys or would like to do.
Weekend party- enjoy a weekend at the beach, lake or city with your friends.
Spa Parties/Makeovers- Manicures, pedicures, massages, facials… unwind and enjoy yourselves, inquire about a group rate or party.
Shopping Party- Rent a limousine, hit the shops and have some fun! You can mix this in with your weekend party if you are in a large metro and have a limousine run you around to shops!
Limousine Party –Rent a limousine for a night and visit your old haunts, hit the bars and dance clubs, and have a good time.
Kidnap Party- This is a surprise party where the bride is kidnapped and taken to her party. This is a great surprise; just let the groom and others know what is going on before this takes place.
Wedding work parties – Need help with a wedding task? Favor making, invitations, place cards, or just planning woes… Invite your bridesmaids over and make a party of it! Order pizza, whip up some chip dip or taco dip, play some games for tension breakers and have fun!
Caterer Party – This party takes a little more planning. Have your caterer make up small portions of your reception menu for samples. Invite friends, family and wedding party to a pre-reception reception. Hors d’oeuvres, champagne, punch, cake, try several recipes and brands. You and your guests pick the best for your reception.
Audition Parties – Get a group of friends and wedding party together to rate the entertainment. Play tapes or view the live bands or DJ’s you are seeking to hire for your reception. This can also be a traveling party if you plan out where bands and DJ’s will be playing on a certain weekend.
